PromptNav is a Chrome extension that enhances your browsing experience by offering contextual AI responses. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

What We Collect

PromptNav does not collect or store any personal data.

• We do not collect your name, email, or any personally identifiable information.
• We do not log your prompts or AI responses.
• We do not use cookies or analytics.

Local Storage

PromptNav uses chrome.storage.local to store user preferences (e.g., dark mode, Brain Break mode) on your device. This information is not transmitted or shared externally.

Third-Party Services

• We use Stripe to securely manage subscriptions. Stripe handles payment information directly and securely — we do not see or store payment details.
• Prompt responses are processed through our hosted AI service (Fly.io) using the Claude API. Prompt content is used solely to generate a response and is not stored or reused.

Permissions Used

The extension uses the following Chrome permissions solely to enable its features:

• activeTab: To allow interaction with your current tab
• contextMenus: To add PromptNav options to the right-click menu
• storage: To retain your preferences (e.g., dark mode, tone)

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties.
